چکیده
|
The boiling process is used as an efficient and effective method of transferring heat between a surface with a higher temperature to a fluid with a lower temperature in contact with the surface# this process is widely used in industry because of its high heat transfer coefficient# in present article, the effect of groove number, depth and groove width on pure water boiling heat transfer coefficient at atmospheric pressure on grooved surfaces has been discussed, experimentally# the groove surfaces are made with wire cutting machine technology with a groove number of 2- 4- 6, groove width of 1- 2- 3 mm and channel depth of 1- 2- 3 mm# the results showed that for the grooved surfaces, the heat transfer coefficient was increased by 35%# also with increasing number of grooves, increasing channel depth and increasing groove width the heat transfer coefficient increased
