   The Effect of Surfactant and Compositions of Oil With Different Viscosity on Stability of Air-Foam and Co2-Foam

چکیده    Gas injection has widely used in oil industry for eor# however, it has some problems such as uptake and fingering due to low density of gas# foam increase apparent viscosity of gas which reduce gas relative permeability and finally improves this method# combination of water and gas does not have enough stability# so, use of surfactant is common to increase the foam stability#in this project, stability of foam generated by cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (ctab) is studied# then, foam stability in presence of normal heptane and toluene, has been investigated# in addition, co2 and air were used for foam generation# for studying of foam stability, after the foam has been generated in bulk by static ‘mixing’ method, the foam column decay was monitored to measure half time#the results show the ctab surfactant increase foam stability and has acceptable foamability# air-foam has more stability compared with co2-foam# regarding the effect of normal heptane and toluene, the presence of these components reduces foam stability that this reduction be greater if saturation of this components increased# it is also observed if viscosity of a component be greater than the other, foam stability improved#
