In this work, polyurethane (pu)/paraffin wax (pw) nanoencapsulated phase change material (nepcm) for thermal energy storage was synthesized by interfacial polymerization method# the microstructure, thermal properties and thermal performance of nepcm were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (tem), differential scanning calorimetry (dsc) and temperature-time curve, respectively# the results showed that the interfacial polymerization technique can be successfully applied for the synthesis of pu/pw nepcm with good encapsulation efficiency (44#3 %), a high latent heat capacity (67#3 ℃, 82#8 j/g), and good thermal performance, which indicates that it has a good thermal energy storage with phase change from solid to liquid phase#
