چکیده
|
Heat transfer enhancement and it's efficiency, has always been of interest to designers and engineers in different industries# this paper reports an experimental study on the role of high frequency ultrasound waves on heat transfer rate from a tube# the tube, which was carrying hot water and placed in a cold bath, was exposed to the ultrasound waves with a frequency of 1#7 mhz# the effects of temperature difference along the studied tube and the tube distance from the wave transducer on heat transfer rate was examined# the present study indicate that by using ultrasonic waves overall heat transfer coefficient shows a significant increase from 53% to 122#2%#
