Synthesis of Alginate Coated Chitosan Nanogel and Surface Tension Measurement of Their Aqueous Solution

Nanogels are polymer-based gels with high biocompatibility and biodegradable formulation# these gels are risen to fame because of their valuable application particularly in the medical field for drug delivery systems as a good carrier# although the information about nanogels surface tension would help in understanding their behavior in controlling processes and applications, there are not many studies on this matter# so, in this context, after synthesizing chitosan nanogel and coating them by alginate, the surface tension of their aqueous solution was studied in different concentrations# from the results, it is deduced that this nanogel acts like surfactants and decreases water surface tension
