plasmonic – dielectric layers, realizing localized surface plasmon polaritons

In this work, plasmonic resonance excitement of plasmonic – photonic hybrid layers is numericallyinvestigated introducing sio2 – au periodic bulk layers placed on the surface of silicon photonic crystal nanocavity substrate. confinement of optical filed in the interface of dielectric – metal compound at the right andleft end leads to the transmission of optical filed to the upper layers in the hybrid structure. fdtd methodhas been applied to simulate the plasmonic characteristics of the designed system.
