چکیده    In this work the preliminary design of an ifr turbine belonging to a 30 kw microturbine has been donethrough experimental relation and turbomachinary science by the use of commercial code cfturbo. primarydesign point datas are derived from amts proposal cycle for a 30 kw microturbine. in order to validate theflow field through the entire stage a cfd simulation has been done through ansys cfx. the two equationturbulence model k−ε is used to reduce the computational cost while keeping the solution accuracy in anacceptable range. the achieved total to total efficiency is nearly 4% higher than specified ηtt but in terms ofpower produced an optimum point must be found between power an efficiency to meet the the shaft powerrequired.
