تحلیل نقش گلوبالیسم لیبرال آمریکا در ظهور و تعمیق ترامپیسم

دونالد ترامپ در انتخابات سال 2020 با وجود واگذاری نتیجه، موفق به کسب بیش از 74 میلیون رای شد که رکورد درخورتوجهی برای کاندیدای شکست‌خورده در این کشور است. این نتیجه درحالی حاصل شد که وی و دولتش طی چهار سال آماج انتقادات و مخالفت‌های داخلی و خارجی گسترده‌ای قرار داشتند. انتخابات 2020 نشان داد که باورهای ناسیونالیستی ترامپ به‌رغم تقابل آشکار با گفتمان هژمونی لیبرال، که چند دهه در سیاست آمریکا حاکم بوده، نفوذ گسترده‌ای در کشور یافته است. سوال مقاله حاضر این است که چرا آمریکا در دوره ترامپ در مسیر ناسیونالیسم و ضدیت با گلوبالیسم هژمونی‌طلبانه لیبرال قرار گرفت؟ فرضیه مقاله این است که هژمونی دولت آمریکا در دوره گلوبالیسم مسائل و هزینه‌هایی به بار آورد که تدریجاً موجب تقویت ناسیونالیسم تندروانه و حمایت‌گرایانه در کشور شد. مقاله به‌لحاظ نظری از تئوری هژمونی لیبرال در روابط بین‌الملل بهره گرفته است و از نظر روشی به ترکیب داده‌های کمی و کیفی گرایش دارد.

An analysis of the American-led Global Liberalism Impact on the Rise of Trumpism

Donald Trump got more than 74 million votes in the 2020 presidential election, making a record for the defeated presidential candidate in the United States history. Trump managed to get this result, while he and his administration had been under a wave of accusations including racism, populism, and mismanagement at home and abroad. The 2020 election results indicated that Trump’s nationalist discourse despite rejecting the values of a liberal international order, has taken deep roots across the US society. This article aims to answer the question of why the United States during the Trump presidency turned against the USled liberal international order. In response, this article focuses on the increasing costs of US hegemonic role in international relations. The article as a mixedmethod research focuses on the theory of hegemonic stability, arguing that Trumpism has been a result of American hegemonic foreign policy during recent decades.
