شکارهای ناصرالدین‌شاه قاجار و پیامدهای آن بر حیات‌وحش ایران

در دورۀ قاجار شکار و شکارگری به‌عنوان یکی از تفریحات و سرگرمی‌های پادشاهان این سلسله به‌حساب می‌آمد؛ در این میان ناصرالدین‌شاه قاجار بیش از همه شیفتۀ شکار بود و بخش بزرگی از اوقات فراغت و حتی زندگی خود را به آن اختصاص داده بود. او مهارت زیادی در شکار داشت و به‌صورت گسترده به شکار حیوانات حیات‌وحش ایران می‌پرداخت. در این پژوهش به روش توصیفی- تحلیلی به دنبال پاسخگویی به این پرسش هستیم که شکار چه جایگاهی در نزد ناصرالدین‌شاه قاجار داشت و پدیدۀ شکار گسترده چه تبعاتی برای حیات‌وحش ایران داشت؟ یافته‌های پژوهش نشان می‌دهد ناصرالدین‌شاه قاجار در ادامۀ سنت شکارگری سلاطین ایرانی، علاقۀ وافری به شکار داشت و در فنون و شاخه‌های مختلف شکار مهارت فوق‌العاده‌ای داشت و بخش بزرگی از ایام سلطنت خود را به شکار پرداخت. شاه و اطرافیانش هیچ محدودیتی در شکار گونه‌های مختلف جانوری برای خود قائل نبودند و این مسئله سبب کاهش جمعیت گونه‌های ارزشمند جانوری ایران در این دوره شد.

during the qajar period, hunting was considered one of the pastimes of the kings of this dynasty; meanwhile, naser al-din shah qajar was most fond of hunting and devoted a large part of his free time and even his life to it. he was very skilled in hunting and used to hunt iran’s wild animals extensively. in this descriptive-analytical research, we seek to answer the question, what place did hunting have in the eyes of naser al-din shah qajar, and what consequences did the widespread hunting phenomenon have for iran’s wildlife? the findings of the research show that naser al-din shah qajar, continuing the hunting tradition of iranian sultans, had a great interest in hunting and was extremely skilled in various hunting techniques and branches, and spent a large part of his reign in hunting. the shah and his entourage did not have any restrictions on hunting different species of animals and this caused the population of valuable species of animals to decrease in iran during this period.
