تحلیلی برشهر دوستدار کودک

برای اولین بار در تاریخ، اکثر جمعیت کره زمین در مراکز شهری زندگی می‌کنند. از 7.6 میلیارد جمعیت فعلی کره زمین، تقریبا یک سوم شهرنشینان را کودکان تشکیل می‌دهند. تخمین زده می‌شود که تا سال 2050، تقریبا 70 درصد از کودکان جهان ساکن مناطق شهری خواهند بود. به گزارش یونیسف؛ امروزه میلیون‌ها نفر از کودکان شهری در فقر شدید و محیط‌های پرخطر برای زندگی به سر می برند. در این راستا برنامه‌ریزان شهری و اجتماعی و نهادهای مسئول باید در راس تصمیم‌گیری‌های خود به کودکان توجه کنند. میلیون کودک در شهرها از خدمات اجتماعیِ اساسی نظیر؛ آموزش و بهداشت محروم‌اند. این کودکان مستحق زندگی در محیط ایمن هستند و به کسانی احتیاج دارند تا آنها را از استثمار و سوء استفاده ها محافظت کند. مفهوم «شهر دوستدار کودک» به طور کل به این معنی است که دولت‌مردان چگونه این شهرها را بر اساس علایق بچه‌ها اداره می‌کنند و نیز به شهرهایی گفته می شود که در آن، حقوق اساسی کودکان مثل سلامت، حمل و نقل، آموزش و فرهنگ رعایت می شود. بر این اساس، کودکان به عنوان شهروندانی تعریف شده‌اند که حقوقی دارند و حق دارند نظراتشان را ابراز کنند. شهر دوستدار کودک تنها یک شهر خوب برای کودک نیست؛ بلکه شهری است که به وسیله کودکان ساخته می‌شود.

Analysis of the Child Friendly City

Abstract For the first time in thoroughly history, the majority of the world’s population lives in urban centers. From the 7.6 billion people on Earth, almost onethird of the population is children. It is estimated that until 2050, approximately 70 percent of the world’s children will be in urban areas. According to UNICEF study, millions of children are living in extreme poverty and urban environments have hazardous to life, In this regard, urban planners and responsible authorities should consider children at the forefront of their decisions. Millions of children in cities are deprived of basic social services such as education and health. These children deserve to live in a safe environment and need those who protect them from exploitation and abuse. Generally, the concept of &childfriendly city& means how government’s administrated these cities based on interests of the children, as well as cities where respected to children’s basic rights such as health, transportation, education and culture. According these matters, children are defined as citizens who have rights to express their views and needs. A childfriendly city is not only a good city for children; it is a childmade city.
