فناوری اطلاعات به صورت فراگیر در حال ایجاد انقلابی نوین است که اهمیت آن از انقلاب صنعتی کمتر نیست،این تحقیق به بررسی(نقش ict در جلب مشارکت جوامع محلی) در روستای لیوان شرقی،شهرستان بندر گز،استان گلستانکی پردازد که در چارچوب روش توصیفی پیمایشی انجام شده است که در این پژوهش ایتدا از روش مصاحبه و سپس از روش مردم نگاری مجازی ،به صورت حضور آنلاین در شبکه ارتباط جمعی حامیان جنگل روستای لیوان و رصد فعالیت های گروه استفاده شد که نتایج آن عمده مسایلی که در این شبکه مطرح می شود پیرامون چه مباحثی بوده و تا چه اندازه این فضا در آگاهی و اطلاع رسانی اعضا نقش موثری داشته استارزیابی ها نشان میدهد که نمونه مورد مطالعه افزایش مهارتهای ارتباطی،مشارکت و آگاهی خود را در استفاده از فناوری اطلاعات و ارتباطات مرتبط میدانند. این اطلاعات میتواند در حوزه محیطی ، اجتماعی ، فرهنگی ،اقتصادی و دیگرمسائل بروز نماید . توسعه فناوریاطلاعات از این جهت از اهمیت ویژهای برخوردار است که میتواند ضمن افزایش مهارتها و توانمندی ها ، سطح بهرهوری و رفاه را بالا ببرد و همچنین با افزایش آگاهی و دسترسی، به اطلاعات ؛دانش محیطی را ارتقا دهد. همچنین شبکه اجتماعی که به واسطه وجود ictمی باشد
