چکیده    Efl students spend most of their free time engaging or playing with their cellphones, computers, gaming consoles or their handheld devices. videogames take the most of this interaction and our students devote themselves to these games. they play them whenever and wherever they can. based on the games they play they do it by themselves or with a group of their friends or in some online games with total strangers with different backgrounds. after a while they start to blend in with the game and its users and start using the words or phrases they see or hear in these games. they talk with their friends about their favorite games and use the words or phrases they learnt in real life as well. the aim of this case study is to get a closer look and understanding of how the users of these games see them as a tool for learning a new language.
