چکیده    Conventional concrete is commonly known as one of the brittle construction materials with poor tensile strength. however the incorporation of various types of fibers specially steel fibers in concrete can significantly improve its strength and ductility, and limit crack propagation. in addition, it seems that magnetic field can affect mechanical properties of concrete containing ferromagnetic particles. the main objective of this study was to investigate compressive strength of steel fiber-reinforced concrete with the volume fractions of 0.4, 0.7 and 1 percent under the influence of magnetic field. to achieve this goal, compressive strength test was conducted on cube concrete specimens at the ages of 7 and 28 days. the experimental results demonstrated that magnetic field increases compressive strength of fiber concrete with the volume fractions of 0.4, 0.7 and 1 percent about 11, 13 and 13 percent at the age of 7 days, respectively. these amounts were obtained for concrete specimens at the age of 28 days about 11, 17 and 12 percent, respectively.
