چکیده    Cold atmospheric plasma (cap) is a widely used method in treating microorganisms including bacteria. a lot of experimental studies confirm the bactericidal effect of plasma, but still there is a need for simulation to characterize the details of interaction between plasma species and bacteria. it seems that oxidative damage of proteins induced by reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (rons) is the dominant effect of plasma. to model the interaction, we have developed a system of ordinary differential equations proposed by marr to include the plasma effect. we have expressed the results as a function of bacteria number. the results show that the number of bacteria is reduced due to oxidative damage caused by plasma. this reduction is directly related to the plasma exposure time.
