The Role of Faith in Attaining Pure Life in the Modern Age

Subject and objectives: most of those with a materialistic mindset believe that religion has no place in this technological age; that is to say, for the progress and salvation of man in this modern age, man is in no need of a religious belief, as it is considered obsolete. in the religious worldview, however, faith is a light that gives direction to life and it is one of the crucial requisites for salvation in this world and the hereafter. thus, the primary aim of this study is to examine the role of faith (i.e) in attaining a goodly pure life in this modern age in the light of verse 97 of surah alnaml. method and finding: the methodology used in this research work was a descriptive-analytical research method in which the available data are analyzed based on logical and textual evidence. the outcome of this research showed that the life of a faithful is indeed worthy and ideal, while a life that is devoid of it is a worthless and imperfect one. conclusion: similarly, a goodly pure life without faith in god and righteous deeds is infeasible. for it is only under the shadow of faith that man could attain both material and spiritual developments.

نقش ایمان در ایصال به حیات طیبه در عصر جدید

موضوع و اهداف: غالب کسانی که دارای طرز فکر مادی هستند، معتقدند دین در این زمان که عصر حاکمیت فناوری است، جایی ندارد و به عبارتی، برای پیشرفت و رستگاری انسان در این عصر جدید، انسان بی نیاز از اعتقاد دینی است که امری منسوخ شمرده می شود؛ اما در جهان بینی دینی، ایمان نوری است که به زندگی جهت می دهد و یکی از ضروریات رستگاری دنیا و آخرت است؛ از این رو هدف اصلی این پژوهش، بررسی نقش ایمان به معنای رسیدن به حیات طیبه در عصر جدید است که در پرتو آیه 97 سوره نمل بیان شده است.روش و یافته‌ها: روش مورد استفاده در این پژوهش، روش تحقیق توصیفی تحلیلی است که در آن داده‌های موجود بر اساس شواهد منطقی و متنی مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفته است. برآیند این تحقیق نشان داد که زندگی مؤمنانه واقعاً شایسته و آرمانی است؛ در حالی که زندگی خالی از آن زندگی بی ارزش و ناقصی است.نتیجه گیری: به همین ترتیب، زندگی پاک و نیکو بدون ایمان به خدا و اعمال صالح غیرممکن است؛ زیرا تنها در سایه ایمان است که انسان می تواند به پیشرفت های مادی و معنوی به صورت توامان دست یابد.
