peace and the state of anarchy in weak-structured post war afghanistan

Afghanistan plus struggling with the major taliban extremists’ issues, hosts heightened group identity problem, and with a state with weak social roots and institutions has very dynamics for interactable conflict. myriad of factors affect the disappearance of peace in the post war afghanistan leading to the failure of the state. the study by having a glimpse on social development of contemporary afghanistan will elaborate on how the failure of nation-building process has set the stage for ethnic factionalism, conflict of interests and security dilemma in ethnic-rich afghanistan. it argues that the shadow of a weak state structure and blurred national integrity have supplied the centrifugal forces to widen ever growing social gap in the country, consequently the conflict arisen out would threaten to spill over into neighboring regions with its unavoidable consequences and as a destabilizing factor respectively will disturb peace in the world.
