Nowadays ozone as a green source shows great application potential in treatment of wastewater. this article revealed the development of modified titanium electrode for ozone generation. in order to modify titanium electrode nicl2.6h2o, sbcl3 anhydrase and sncl4.5h2o salts solutions were used. after drying these salts on the surface of titanium electrode, it was used in a two electrode system with a constant current (12 ma). this modified electrode with cabibility of producing ozone was applied in textile reactive blue 222 solution with the concentration of 300 mg/l. absorption spectra and ph of the dye solution before and after dye degradation with ozone was measured. the results showed that by increasing the ozonation time from 0 to 45 minutes, removal efficiency increased to reach to 100%. based on the results, electrochemical ozonation can be used for removal of textile reactive blue 222 from textile wastewater or water contaminated with this dye.

In order to modify titanium electrode NiCl2.6H2O, SbCl3 anhydrase and SnCl4.5H2O salts solutions were used. after drying these salts on the surface of the titanium electrode, it was used in a two electrode system with a constant current (12 mA). This modified electrode with the capability of producing ozone was applied in textile reactive blue 222 solution with the concentration of 300 mg / L. Absorption spectra and pH of the dye solution before and after dye degradation with ozone was measured. The results showed that by increasing the ozonation time from 0 to 45 minutes, removal efficiency increased to reach 100%. Based on the results, electrochemical ozonation can be used for removal of textile reactive blue 222 from textile wastewater or water contaminated with this dye.
