بررسی عنصر شخصیّت در رمان تاریخی امینه براساس نظریه سیمور چتمن

شخصیّت از نظر سیمور چتمن، نظریه‌پرداز و منتقد معاصر؛ دارای چنان اهمیّت محوری است که در پیوند دیگر ارکان داستان برای شکل‌گیری روایت و درگیرکردن ذهن مخاطب با موقعیّت‌سازی، گره‌گشایی و حادثه‌آفرینی نقش اساسی دارد. نظری در برابر نظر فرمالیست‌ها و ساختارگرایان. از نظر او شخصیّت است که کنش و موقعیّت را می‌سازد و نه بالعکس؛ و در این مورد فرقی میان داستان‌های کلاسیک و نو وجود ندارد. پژوهش تحلیلی حاضر از رمان تاریخی امینه بر اساس نظریه‌ چتمن نشان می‌دهد که دیگر عناصر داستانی نیز مانند اشیاء، مکان و زمان، کنش‌ها و ... بر پایه‌ حضور او به فرم و منطق داستانی می‌رسند و ابعاد رفتارش گفتمان ذهنی‌ و جهان معنایی داستان را توجیه‌پذیر و باورمند می‌سازد. این کنش فعّال شخصیّتی از زنان ایران در قرن دوازدهم فراتر از رفتار اجتماعی- سیاسی بسیاری از مردان نیز قرار می‌گیرد؛ چرا که این بانو از یک سو به فکر جنگ با دشمنان خارجی مانند افغان‌هاست و از دیگر سو با شخصیّت‌های متعدّد تاثیرگذار در تاریخ و سرنوشت کشور مانند کریم‌خان، نادر، آغامحمّدخان و ... در ارتباط است. او هم به دیپلماسی با خارجیان می‌پردازد، هم در فکر تجارت، اندیشه‌ورزی و ساختن ذهنیّتی روشنفکرانه و احیاگر حقوق ملی و اجتماعی نیز هست.

according to seymour chatman, who is a contemporary theorist and critic, character is so pivotal that it plays a key role in linking the other elements of the story to the formation of the narrative and engaging the audience's mind with being adapted to different situations, unraveling, and adventure. this is a view, which is against the views of formalists and those who follow structuralism. in his view, it is the personality that creates the action and the situation and not the other way around.in this case, there is no difference between classic and new stories. thepresent analytical research of the historical novel amineh based onchatman's theory indicates that other narrative elements such asobjects, place and time, actions, etc. reach the narrative form and logicbased on his presence and the dimensions of his behavior (mentaldiscourse and semantic world) make the story justifiable andbelievable. this active characterization of iranian women in the 12thcentury goes beyond the socio-political behavior of many men. this isdue to the fact that, this lady is thinking of war with foreign enemiessuch as afghans and, furthermore, she is associated with variousinfluential personalities in the history and destiny of the country, suchas karim khan, nader, agham mohammad khan, and so on. sheengages in diplomacy with foreigners, as well as in business, thought,and the creation of an intellectual mindset that revives national andsocial rights.
