چکیده    This analytical observational study, designed as a case-control study, aims to compare vitamin d levels in sacrouterine ligament tissue and blood between women with and without uterine prolapse undergoing surgery at dr. soetomo hospital and airlangga university hospital. the findings reveal that vitamin d levels in sacrouterine ligament tissue are generally higher than in blood across both groups. the mean vitamin d level in ligament tissue across all subjects was 31.65 ± 10.81 ng/ml, whereas the mean blood vitamin d level was 15.65 ± 7.99 ng/ml. this difference suggests a potential mechanism of local accumulation or regulation of vitamin d within the sacrouterine ligament. despite vitamin d’s known role in calcium metabolism and connective tissue health, this study found no significant relationship between vitamin d levels and the occurrence of uterine prolapse. other factors, such as age and childbirth history, may have a greater influence on uterine prolapse development.
