چکیده    This study presents a comprehensive study of the impact of metabolic syndrome on female reproductive health. a comparative study of hormonal status, anthropometric parameters and ovarian reserve was conducted in 300 women with metabolic syndrome and 100 healthy patients. statistically significant differences were found in the main parameters: body mass index, glucose, insulin, androgens and anti-muller hormone levels. a high correlation has been established between metabolic disorders and reproductive disorders. it has been shown that the presence of three or more components of the metabolic syndrome increases the risk of reproductive disorders by 6.7 times. a decrease in ovarian reserve and an increase in the frequency of anovulation were found in the main group. patients with metabolic syndrome showed a significant increase in the level of c-reactive protein in the follicular fluid, which indicates the presence of an inflammatory process and oxidative stress. the study showed that a woman’s fertility largely depends on the functioning of the hypothalamic-pituitary axis, as a result of which metabolic syndrome, obesity, and reproductive problems have interrelated mechanisms. it was found that an increase in body mass index to 23.9 kg/m2 and above is a significant risk factor for anovulatory infertility. the results of the study emphasize the need for early detection and comprehensive correction of metabolic disorders in women planning pregnancy.
