unveiling the potential of jellyfish: a promising approach for cancer therapy

The prevalence of cancer worldwide remains high. to date, the development of formulations and the discovery of effective active compounds for cancer prevention and therapy are still needed. therefore, numerous studies are still being conducted for the development of effective active compounds for cancer management. one substance that has shown promising cytotoxic activity, with abundant availability and minimal side effects, is jellyfish. jellyfish have been extensively studied for their pharmacological activities, including their cytotoxic effects on various types of cancer cells. this review article aims to summarize and evaluate the use of jellyfish in the therapy of various cancer diseases, both in vitro and in vivo, which serves as a reference for further research on the use of jellyfish in cancer therapy.
