   Synthesis, Spectroscopic Characterization and Thermal Study of Some Transition Metal Complexes Derived From Caffeine Azo Ligand With Some of Their Applications

چکیده    Novel n,n-bidentate azo ligand, namely 8-[5-(2-sulfonic acid naphthyl)azo]caffeine (snac), as well as their metal complexes with [ag(i), co(ii), cu(ii), pd(ii) ,and pt(iv)] were synthesized and characterized by utilizing elemental analysis, spectroscopic  techniques, magnetic susceptibility, molar conductance and thermal analysis. the stability constant and gibbs free energy were examined by spectroscopic methods. the ligand(snac) in comparison to its complexes were tested for their antibacterial, antioxidant , anticancer and burn healing activities.
