   a novel inexpensive method for preparation of silk nanofibers from cocoons

چکیده    This study introduces a novel method for the production of silk nano-fibers viaemploying a mechanical and straightforward alternative to other toxic and costlychemical approaches. for this purpose, silk nano-fibers were separated from thecocoon using mechanical homogenizer and probe ultrasound. after the preparation ofsilk nanofibers, the product was characterized by fourier transform infraredspectroscopy (ftir) and scanning electron microscopy. the results were thenevaluated in comparison with previous techniques and the advantages of the proposedmethod were investigated.
