a swot analysis of instagram english teaching pages

In recent years social networking sites have affected almost all aspects of our lives. the instagram social network has become popular among people, and there are lots of pages on this social media, which are explicitly presenting english materials to their followers. this nonexperimental descriptive study aimed to determine the strength, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of english teaching pages on instagram. twelve english teaching pages were observed due to their high number of followers to discover the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. to provide more fruitful points for the swot analysis, ten active instagram users were interviewed. they were asked to fill out a swot analysis written interview about instagram english teaching pages. the interpretative approach and frequency and percentage were used to analyze the data, owing to the nature of the gathered data in this research. employing the results of this study, admins of english teaching pages can take a forward step to make their pages more beneficial and more effective in the process of english teaching. the findings can also help those scholars or teachers who want to use instagram to present their services. being aware of the effectiveness of english teaching pages helps language learners be more cautious about selecting them as a source of learning english.

تحلیل اس دبلیو اُ تی از صفحات آموزش زبان انگلیسی اینستاگرام

در سالهای اخیر فناوری اثر بسزایی در جوانب مختلف زندگی بشر داشته است و از فناوری­های جدید در امر آموزش نیز استفاده شده است. شبکه ی اجتماعی اینستاگرام با بیش از یک میلیارد کاربر یکی از محبوب ترین شبکه های اجتماعی است و صفحات بسیار زیادی در اینستاگرام مشغول به آموزش زبان انگلیسی می­باشند .این تحقیق توصیفی با استفاده از ابزارهای مشاهده و مصاحبه و با بهره گیری از تحلیل اس دبلیو اُ تی براین بوده است تا صفحات آموزش زبان انگلیسی را بررسی کند. مشاهده روی دوازده صفحه ی محبوب اینستاگرام انجام شد و برای فراهم کردن اطلاعات کامل تر از ده نفر به صورت کتبی مصاحبه شد. نتایج بدست آمده در این تحقیق نقاط قوت و نقاط ضعفی که صفحات آموزشی در اینستاگرام دارند را نشان می­دهد. این تحقیق هم­چنین فرصت ها و تهدید­هایی که صفحات اموزش زبان انگلیسی در اینستاگرام فراهم میکنند را مشخص کرده است.  داده های تفسیر شده ی این تحقیق میتواند کمک شایانی به زبان آموزان در جهت انتخاب صفحه ی مناسب برای یادگیری زبان انگلیسی بکند و ادمین های صفحه های آموزش انگلیسی اینستاگرام نیز میتوانند در جهت ارتقا کیفیت صفحه ی خود از یافته های این مطالعه استفاده کنند. نتایج بدست آمده در این تحقیق همچنین میتواند به موسسات آموزش زبان و معلمانی که درصدد استفاده از اینستاگرام و یا سایر شبکه­ های اجتماعی برای ارئه ی خدمات خود هستند کمک کند.
