نقش میانجی عملکرد زیست محیطی، اجتماعی و حاکمیت شرکتی در رابطه بین حضور مدیران زن و سطح مالی‌شدن شرکت

هدف: هدف این پژوهش بررسی تاثیر حضور مدیران زن در هیئت مدیره بر سطح مالی شدن شرکت هاست. همچنین این مطالعه به بررسی نقش میانجی عملکرد زیست محیطی، اجتماعی و حاکمیت شرکتی در رابطه بین مدیران زن و میزان مالی شدن شرکت ها می پردازد.روش: به منظور دستیابی به هدف پژوهش، نمونه ای برابر با 121 شرکت پذیرفته شده در بورس اوراق بهادار تهران طی بازه زمانی 1396 تا 1401 معادل 726 سال- شرکت، با استفاده از تحلیل رگرسیون چندگانه مبتنی بر داده های ترکیبی مورد بررسی قرارگرفت.یافته‌ها: یافته ها نشان داد که افزایش مدیران زن در هیئت مدیره به‌طور قابل‌توجهی مانع از مالی شدن شرکت می‌گردد. همچنین یافته ها نقش میانجی عملکرد زیست محیطی، اجتماعی و حاکمیت شرکتی بر رابطه بین حضور مدیران زن و مالی شدن شرکت را تایید کرد.نتیجه‌گیری: حضور مدیران زن در هیئت مدیره، می تواند سطح مالی شدن شرکت را کاهش دهد. همچنین بهبود عملکرد زیست محیطی، اجتماعی و حاکمیت شرکتی تاثیر منفی مدیران زن بر سطح مالی شدن شرکت را تقویت می کند. در واقع با حضور مدیران زن و سرمایه گذاری بخشی از منابع شرکت در مسائل زیست محیطی و اجتماعی میزان مالی شدن شرکت ها تنزل می یابد. این مورد می تواند هم به دلیل کاهش منابع در دسترس باشد و هم به دلیل افزایش نظارت خارجی بر شرکت.دانش‌افزایی: به طورکلی، این مطالعه روشی موثر برای کاهش ریسک مالی شدن شرکت ها از منظر ساختار حاکمیت داخلی شرکت ارائه داده و ادبیات رفتار اقتصادی زنان در حاکمیت شرکتی را توسعه می دهد.

the mediating role of environmental, social and corporate governance performance in the relationship between female managers and company financialization

purpose: the purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the presence of female managers on the board of directors on the level of company financialization. additionally, this study examines the mediating role of environmental, social, and corporate governance (esg) performance in the relationship between female managers and the financialization level of companies.method: to achieve the research objective, a sample of 121 companies listed on the tehran stock exchange from 2017 to 2023, equivalent to 726 company-years, was analyzed using multiple regression analysis based on panel data.results: the findings indicate that an increase in the number of female managers on the board of directors significantly hinders company financialization. furthermore, the results confirm the mediating role of esg performance in the relationship between the presence of female managers and company financialization.conclusion: the presence of female managers on the board of directors can significantly reduce company financialization. moreover, improvements in esg performance strengthen the negative effect of female managers on company financialization.contribution: overall, this study provides an effective approach to reducing the risk of company financialization from the perspective of internal governance structure and contributes to the literature on women’s economic behavior in corporate governance.
