چکیده    Chitosan, an important biomacromolecule, and polyvinyl chloride (pvc), a well-synthetic polymer, were amalgamated to produce crosslinked blended membranes using uv irradiation. these membranes exhibit a densely linked chitosan/pvc network created by the self-crosslinking of pvc and the bonding of chitosan branches to pvc chains under uv irradiation.  the films were infused with nanoparticles (nps)of zno, tio2, mgo, and nio to resist photodegradation. after applying uv radiation to these films, analytical and morphological methods were used to assess the expected damage. weight loss showed that films with additives had fewer surface damages than those without. in all samples, chitosan/pvc-nio nps filled-film mitigated photodegradation as determined via weight loss and surface morphology.
