جایگاه شعر و شاعری در قرآن کریم

دیدگاه قرآن درباره شعر و شاعری چیست؟ در آیۀ 224 از سورۀ مبارکۀ شعراء آمده است: «­وَ الشُّعَراءُ یَتَّبِعُهُمُ الْغاوُونَ‏». بر اساس برداشت ابتدایی از این آیۀ شریفه به نظر می‌رسد که این کتاب آسمانی نسبت به شعر و شاعری نگاه منفی داشته و شاعران را مورد نکوهش و مذمت قرار داده است، لیکن دقت در این آیه و آیات بعدی و همچنین سیاق، شان و تاریخ نزول آن، مطالب و مفاهیم ارزشمندی را در اختیار ما قرار می‌دهد که توجه به آن در این زمینه راهگشا و هدایتگر است. یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد که هیچ‌یک از فرازهای قرآنی در صدد نکوهش و تخطئه اصل هنرِ شعر و شاعری نیستند، بلکه آیات و همچنین برخی از روایاتی که در ظاهر به مخالفت با شعر و شاعری پرداخته‌اند نیز با توجه به گوناگونی محتوای شعر و همچنین شرایط و موقعیت‌های مختلف، قابل توجیه و تفسیر هستند. همانگونه که آیۀ مذکور نیز در ادامه با آیۀ «اِلاَّ الَّذِینَ آمَنُوا وَ عَمِلُوا الصَّالِحاتِ وَ ذَکَرُوا اللَّهَ کَثِیراً و... » تخصیص خورده و شعرای ایمانی را استثناء می‌نماید.

Poems and Poets Status in the Holy Quran

Abstract What’s the Quranic view regarding poems and poets? According to Surah ash Shu’ra verse 224 “And as for the poets the deviators follow them”. Based on a superficial understanding of this verse, one might believe that the Holy Quran has a negative view towards poems and poets and has scolded the poets. Nevertheless, deeper understanding of this verse and the following verses as well as the way, the date and integrity of their revelation, guide and illuminate us with invaluable concepts. Results show that none of the Quranic conceptions scold the artistic essence of poems and poets. On the contrary, some Quranic verses and narratives which seem to oppose poems and poets are interpretable and justifiable in terms of various contents and situations of poems. As it is clarified in the continuation of this Surah “Except for those who believe, and do good deeds, and remember Allah frequently, … ”, the believer poets are considered as exceptions.
