بررسی و تحلیل مشخصه‌های پوپولیسم در داستان «قلعۀ حیوانات»؛ اثر جورج اورول

پوپولیسم ، ازجمله مولفه‌های مطرح در علوم اجتماعی و سیاست است که با تاکید بر محوریت نقش و خواست عامۀ مردم و با شعار دفاع از حقوق ازدست‌رفتۀ ایشان در مقابل طبقۀ روشنفکر حاکم، به اشکال گوناگون بر ذهن و قلم نویسندگان در حوزۀ ادبیات داستانی تاثیر نهاده‌است. پوپولیسم دارای مشخصههای مثبتی است که در بشتر موارد بر اثر برخی انحرافات، چهره‌ی کاملاً منفی‌ای را به‌‌خود می‌گیرد، تا جایی که این بازخورد متضاد، مشخصه‌های واقعی پوپولیسم تلقی می‌گردند. داستان قلعه حیوانات اثر «جورج اورول » یکی از نمودهای روشن نظام اجتماعی پوپولیستی‌ در ادبیات داستانی است که نویسنده در نگارش آن، با استفاده از قالب «فابل » و ترسیم شخصیت‌های نمادین حیوانی، یک جنبش مردمی با چهرۀ پوپولیستی را در داستان خود الگوبرداری کرده ‌است. در این مقاله که با روش تحلیلی تطبیقی است، کوشش شده است که ضمن بررسی و اثبات وجود مشخصه‌های پوپولیسم در متن داستان «قلعه‌ی حیوانات»، روند تغییر کارکرد مشخصه‌های آن و الگو گرفتن این داستان از یک انقلاب پوپولیستی بررسی و تبیین گردد. نتایج این این مقاله حاکی از این امر است که این داستان در واقع ترسیم کنندۀ یک نظام پوپولیستی است که در روند آن مشخصه‌های مثبت پوپولیسم به مرور تبدیل به مشخصه‌هایی منفی می‌گردد.

A Study and Analysis of the Characteristics of Populism in George Orwell’s Animal Castle

Polulism is a component,  which is mentioned in social sciences and politics. It emphasizes on the centrality of the peoples role and public will, withe the slogan of defending their lost rights against the predominant intellectual class. This action has influenced on authors minds and writings in the field of Fiction, in different ways. Populism has positive features, but in most cases, because of the some deviations, takes on a completely negative face, to the extent that, this contradictory feedback is considered as the real features of Populism. Animal Farm by George Orwell is one of the bright manifestations of populistic social system in the field of Fiction, in which, the writer has modeled a democratic movement with a populistic face, by using Fabula (Fable) format and visualizing of simbolic animal features.In this analyticalcomprative essay, the features of Populism in Animal Farm story are cosidered and their existance is proved. In addition, the procedure of changing of the feature functions and also modeling from a Populistic revolution is considered and explained.The results inducate that this story,  visualizes a Populistic system in which, the positive Populism features , over time, turn into negative
