کاربستِ نظریۀ کارن هورنای در مطالعۀ روانشناختیِ شخصیتهای رمان عطر فرانسوی

رمان عطر فرانسوی اثر امیر تاج السر، با روایت شخصیت اصلی داستان و پرداختن به دیگر شخصیت‌ها که در تعامل با شخصیت اصلی بیان می‌شود؛ سعی در نشان دادن اوضاع و احوال خفقان‌آور جامعه و مردم آن دارد. تاثیر اوضاع جامعه و ایجاد «خود ایده‌الی» و بررسی تیپ شخصیت‌ها در این رمان با بهره‌گیری از نظریه کارن هورنای، موضوع اصلی این پژوهش است. هورنای به عنوان یکی از مهم‌ترین نظریه‌پردازان عرصه‌ی شخصیت‌شناسی بر این عقیده است که ساخت منشیِ آدم بزرگسال از مجموعِ تجاربی که در مدت زندگیِ اجتماعی و فرهنگیِ او روی هم انباشته و متراکم گردیده‌اند، تشکیل یافته است و اگر فرد در رابطه با اجتماع، احساس امنیت خود را از دست دهد به اضطراب اساسی دچار می‌شود. مکانیسم دفاعی فرد در این حالت خارج از سه حالت، مهرطلبی، انزوا طلبی، برتری طلبی نخواهد بود. با بهره‌گیری از روش توصیفی – تحلیلی و در پاسخ به این پرسش که دلایل روان‌رنجوری شخصیت‌های اصلی و فرعی رمان عطر فرانسوی چیست و از چه عواملی تاثیر گرفته است، این پژوهش شخصیت‌های رمان و کشمکش‌های درونی و مکانیسم دفاعی‌ ایشان در برابر اضطراب اساسی را توضیح می‌دهد. نتیجه‌ی پژوهش بیانگر آن است که همه‌ی شخصیت‌های رمان حداقل یکی از وجوه شخصیتی نظریه هورنای یعنی حرکت به سوی دیگران، حرکت علیه دیگران و حرکت به سمت دوری از دیگران را منعکس می‌کنند.

Applying Karen Horney’s Theory to the Psychological Study of the Personalityin French Perfume of Amir Tajesser)

A French perfume is novel by Amir Tajesser, a Sudanese novelist and physician. By narrating the main character of the story and dealing with other characters which is expressed in interaction with the main character he is trying to portray the oppressive conditions of society and its people. Karen Horney is a German psychologist and one of the most important theorists in the field of personality. According to Horney’s theory, Experiences that have been accumulated and concentrated during the adult social and cultural life, ddetermines how a person behaves. She divides people into three types of sealer, supremacist and secularist. The main topic of this research is the Influence of Community Conditions and the Creation of &Ideal Self& and the Study of the Character Type. In this paper, using a descriptive analytical method based on Horney’s theory, the characters of the French perfume novel are examined to explain the personal struggles of the characters and their defense mechanisms against main anxiety. The result of the study showed that all the characters in the novel at least show one of the personality aspects of Horney’s theory: the moving towards others, moving against others, and moving away from others.
