جایگاه عقل در اندیشه‌ کلامی شیخ مفید؛ با تاکید بر بررسی و نقد دیدگاههای موجود

اعتبار عقل و ادراکات عقلی در نظر شیخ مفید، محرز است و جای هیچگونه مناقشه‌یی ندارد. بحث در مورد حجیت یا عدم‌حجیت عقل استقلالی از دیدگاه اوست. عبارت وی مبنی بر اینکه «عقل در دانش و نتایجش محتاج سمع است»، محل نزاع آراء شده است. شارحان از اینگونه عبارات شیخ‌مفید برداشتهای مختلفی داشته‌اند و میتوان آنها را ذیل دو دیدگاه دسته‌بندی نمود که دیدگاه دوم خود مشتمل بر دو رویکرد است. نکته قابل ذکر اینست که هر دو دیدگاه با بخشی از عبارات شیخ‌مفید ناسازگار است. نگارنده پس از بررسی و نقد دیدگاههای موجود، قائل به جدایی مقام نظر و عمل است. بدین معنا که بنظر میرسد هرچند شیخ‌مفید در مشی علمی خود معتقد به حجیت استقلالی عقل است، ولی در مقام نظر، اقوالش متفاوت است و نمیتوان نظری بدون مناقشه را در آثار او در باب حجیت یا عدم‌حجیت عقل خودبنیاد مشاهده کرد. عقل و مسائل پیرامونی آن از جمله تعریف، کارکردها و حجیت عقل و همچنین رابطه‌ عقل و وحی، از دیگر مباحث مطرح شده در این نوشتار است.

Place of Intellect in Shaykh al-Mufīd’s Kalāmī Thoughts with an Emphasis on a Critical Analysis of Existing Views

The value of reason and rational perceptions is indisputably obvious in Shaykh alMufīd’s view. However, it is his view of the authority of reason which is to some extent debatable. His statement as to “reason requires to give an ear to knowledge and its consequences” has given rise to some debates. Commentators have interpreted such statements of Shaykh alMufīd in different ways, which can be classified into two categories with the second one consisting of two approaches by itself. It is worth noting that both of them are inconsistent with a part of Shaykh alMufīd’s ideas. Based on a critical analysis of existing views, the author believes that theory and practice are separate from each other. In other words, it seems that, Shaykh alMufīd believes in the independent authority of reason in practice; however, he has different theoretical views, and one cannot find any idea regarding the authority of autonomous reason which has not been challenged. This paper discusses the problem of reason and a number of related issues such as the definition, function, authority of reason, and the relationship between reason and revelation.
