نقد و بررسی کتاب «فرهنگ نصیری»

با گسترش زبان ترکی در ایرانِ عصر صفوی و نیاز به این زبان برای برقرار داشتن ارتباطات با کشورهای ترک‌زبان همسایه، شماری فرهنگ لغت در این دوره تالیف شد تا یادگیری ترکی و فهم کلمات دشوار این زبان را در متون مختلف آسان سازد. فرهنگ نصیری یکی از این فرهنگهاست که دو تن از منشیان درباری عهد صفوی با هدف یاد شده تالیف کرده‌اند که تنها نسخۀ خطی آن را دکتر حسن جوادی و دکتر ویلم فلور با همکاری چند تن دیگر اخیراً  تصحیح و نشر کرده‌اند. قصد در این مقاله معرفیِ اجمالی و سپس نقدی بر این کتاب است که ضمن آن نمونه‌هایی از خطاهای متعدد عجیبِ آن نقل خواهد شد. نتیجه‌گیری نگارنده این است که آنچه مصححان محترم انجام داده‌اند، اززش علمی ندارد و چیزی جز اتلاف پول در بر نداشته است.

A critical study of the Farhange Nasiri

Along with the spread of Turkish in Iran under the Safavids and the need to know this language for communicating with the neighbouring Turkish states, a number of dictionaries were compiled in this period in order to facilitate the learning of this language or to facilitate the comprehension of difficult Turkish words, in various subjects written in this language. The Nasiri Farhang (Nasiri’s Dictionary) is one of the TurkishPersian dictionaries written by two court secretaries in the Safavid period towards this same goal. Its only manuscript has recently been amended and sent to the market by Hasan Javadi, and Willem Floor in collaboration with several others. My intention in this article is a brief presentation and then a critique of this book, quoting samples of its numerous strange mistakes. My conclusion is that what the respected editors have done is of little scholarly importance, resulting in nothing but waste of money.
