ما به کجاییم و امانت کجاست (نقد ترجمۀ فارسی اللمع فی التصوف)

ابونصر سراج اللمع را در رد شبهات صوفی ‌ستیزان و تثبیت مبادی تصوف و نشان دادن مطابقت آن با کتاب و سنت به زبان عربی به رشتۀ تحریر درآورد. قرنها گذشت تا آنکه در قرن بیستم متن آن به زبانهای اروپایی درآمد و پس از آن با تاخیر به فارسی نیز برگردانده شد. اللمع دو ترجمۀ فارسی دارد. نخستین ترجمه که ناقص است و تنها شش کتاب اول اللمع را در بر می‌گیرد، در 1380 منتشر شد و ترجمۀ دوم، که کامل است. در 1382 از سوی انتشارات اساطیر به طبع رسید. مقالۀ حاضر در نقد ترجمۀ دوم است.

Where are we and where is fidelity? (Criticism of the Persian translation of the AlLoma’ fi alTasawwof)

AlLoma’ fi alTasawwof, by Abu Nasr Sarraje Tusi, edited and annotated by Reynold A. Nicholson, translated into Persian by Mahdi Mahabbati, Tehran, Asatir, 2nd reprinting, 1388 A.H./2009. Abu Nasr Sarraj wrote, in Arabic, the AlLoma’ to repudiate the doubts expressed by antiSufis, strengthen the principles of Sufism and show its conformity with the Qor’an and Prophetic tradition. Several centuries passed until in the 20th century the AlLoma’ was put into European languages, and belatedly into Persian. There are two translations of the AlLoma’. The first translation, which is imperfect and contains only the first six books of the AlLoma’ was published in1380 A.H./2001. The second one, which is complete, was printed in 1382/2003 by the Asatir Publishers. The present article is a critical study of the second translation.
