رقم نقاش و مُذهِّب بر جلدهای روغنی (لاکی) کتابخانه و موزۀ ملی ملک

کتابخانه و موزۀ ملی ملک دارای مجموعه ارزشمندی از نسخ خطی و به تبع آن انواع جلد و به‌ ویژه جلدهای روغنی نفیس است. این مقاله، علاوه بر معرفی جلدهای روغنی (لاکی) دارای رقم نقاش و مذهب در مجموعه ملک، به شناسایی هنرمندان و آثار ایشان با توجه به اطلاعات موجود دربارۀ رقم، تاریخ و نیز ویژگی‌های هنری آن آثار پرداخته است. از 6675 مجلد نسخۀ خطی مجموعه ملک، 212 نسخه دارای جلد روغنی است که تنها سیزده مورد، رقم ده هنرمند نقاش یا مذهب و شاید جلدساز را بر خود دارند. برای یافتن پاسخ پرسشهای مطرح شده از شیوۀ کتابخانه‌ ای ـ میدانی بهره برده ‌ایم و بررسی نگارندگان محدود است به جلدهایی با زیر ساخت مقوای فشرده (پاپیه ماشه) که نوع تکامل یافتۀ جلد روغنی است.

The signature of the painter and illuminator on the lacquer covers of the books in the Malek Library and National Museum

The Malek Library and National Museum has an invaluable collection of manuscripts and, for that reason, all sorts of coverings, in particular, exquisite glazed (rowghani) ones. Besides introducing lacquer covers bearing the signatures of their painters and illuminators (mozahheb) in the Malek collection, this article addresses the identification of artists and their works with respect to the information regarding the signatures, dates as well as the artistic features Our of 6675 manuscript books, 212 have lacquer coverings of which 13 manuscripts bear the signatures of 10 painters, illuminators and, perhaps, binders. To find answers to a number of questions raised, we employed a libraryfieldwork approach, limiting ourselves to coverings with compressed cardboard (papier marche), which are improved sort of lacquer covers.
