صدرالافاضل خوارزمی و جایگاه ادبی و تاریخی کتاب الیُمنِی فی شرح الیَمینِی

صدرالافاضل قاسم بن حسین خوارزمی یکی از دانشمندان و ادیبان بزرگ ایرانی و صاحب کتاب الیُمنی فی شرح الیَمینی است که در سال 617ق در یورش مغولان به خوارزم کشته شد. تا آنجا که می دانیم، تنها کسی که شرحی از احوال و آثار او به دست داده، یاقوت در کتاب معجم الادباست. کتاب الیمینیِ عتبی غیر از اشتمال بر تاریخِ دوره ای بسیار مهم از دولت غزنوی، از جمله کتابها و مآخذ ادبی مهم سدۀ پنجم است و تا چند قرن پس از آن، ادیبان به شرح و توضیح آن همت می گماشتند. یکی از نخستین کسانی که به شیوه ای خاص شرحی بر الیمینی نگاشت، صدرالافاضل خوارزمی بود. این دانشمند، الفاظ و اصطلاحات کتاب الیمینی را با نثری ساده و روان و به ترتیب لغتنامۀ صِحاح جوهری شرح نموده و به تصحیفات و تحریفات این کتاب نیز اشاره کرده است. این مقاله، مشتمل است بر شرحی از زندگی و آثار عالم و ادیب قرن هفتم صدرالافاضل خوارزمی و بیان ویژگیها و جایگاه ادبی و تاریخی کتاب الیُمنی، که از جمله آثار کمتر شناختۀ وی در حوزۀ ادب، تاریخ و جغرافیای ایران و برخی نقاط جهان اسلام است.

Sadr alAfazel Khwarazmi And the literary and historical place of the book AlYomni fi sharhe alYamini

Sadr alAfazel Qasem b. Hosayn Khwarazmi, one of the great Iranian scholars and literary men is the author of  the Ketab alYomni fi sharhe alYamini. .He was killed in 617 A.H/1220 CE. at the time of Mongol invasion of Iran. As far as we know, the only person who has given an account of Sadr alAfazel’s life and works is Yaqut in his Mo’jam al Odaba. Not only does the Ketab alYamini contain the history of an important period of the Ghaznavid rule, it is also one of the significant literary sources from the 5th/11th century, and until several centuries, men of letters devoted themselves to expounding the book and writing commentaries on it. One of the first to have written a commentary on AlYamini in a special way was Sadr alAfazel Khwarazmi .He set forth a number of the words and expressions used in the AlYamini in simple and fluently prose according to the order adopted by Jowhari’s Sehah Dictionary, referringto the divergences and misprints of the book as well. This article includes an account of the life and works of Sadr alAfazel and a description of his personality and the literary and historical standing of the AlYomni, one of his less known books in the field of literature, history and geography of Iran and some other parts of the Moslem world.
