ارزش‌های واژگانی یک ترجمۀ کهن از نهج‌البلاغه

در بین متون ترجمه‌شده از عربی به فارسی، ترجمه‌های قدیم نهج‌البلاغه جایگاه ممتاز و البتّه ناشناخته‌ای دارند. از آنجا که اصل عربی متن در مواضعی ثقیل و ترجمۀ آن دشوار است، فضلای اغلب ناشناسی که پیش از عهد صفوی به ترجمۀ این اثر اقدام کرده‌اند کار دشواری در پیش داشته‌اند. آن‌ها نمونه‌های فراوانی  برای الگوبرداری و تاثیرپذیری در اختیار نداشته‌اند، و این دقیقاً برخلاف ترجمه‌های قدیم قرآن است که در آن‌ها مترجمان نمونه‌های پرشماری را در دست داشته و کار آن‌ها از این لحاظ آسان‌تر بوده است. در میان ترجمه‌های منشرنشده از نهج‌البلاغه، نسخۀ بسیار ممتاز کتابخانۀ وزیری یزد (مورّخ 882ق) در مقالۀ حاضر برای نخستین بار تحلیل و برخی ارزش‌های زبانی آن بازنمایی می‌شود. صاحب این ترجمه نیز، مانند سایر ترجمه‌های قدیم این اثر، ناشناس است، امّا از اشتراک برخی واژگان نادر آن با واژگان شماری از متون قدیم، شاید بتوان دربارۀ محلّ پدیدآمدن اثر گمانه‌زنی کرد.

lexical benefits of an old translation of the nahj al-balāghah

amongst the arabic texts translated into persian, the old translations of the nahj  al-balāgheh hold a remarkable place, unknown though. as the original arabic text is in certain places too heavy and hard to comprehend, the pre-safavid scholars, mostly unidentified, who engaged in translating this work were faced with a difficult task. however, they had no model to follow, this being exactly contrary to the old translations of the qur’an for which translators had ample examples, requiring easier work.among the unpublished translations of the nahj al-balāgheh   the highly renowned manuscript kept in yazd’s vaziri library (dated 882 h/ 1477 is examined in the present article for the first time and some if its linguistic values are shown. the translator of this work is also, like other old texts, unknown, but considering that a number of rare words also occur in several old texts, it is possible that one can make some conjectures as to the origin of the book.
