کلمات مختوم به «- ای» و «- وی» در متون قدیم فارسی؛ تمرینی در فنّ تلفّظ‌ شناسی

در این مقاله کوشش شده‌است تا با بررسی برخی جنبه‌های اجتماعی و اقتصادی شعر فارسی، به‌ویژه شیوه‌های امرار معاش شعرا و چگونگی ارتباط آنها با دربارها و دیگر مراکز ثروت و قدرت، برخی عوامل ایجاد سنن شعری و معیارسازی متون رسمی مشخص شود. در این بررسی معلوم خواهد شد که برخی کاربردهای شعرا نه تابع زبان طبیعی ایشان، که پیرو سنن شعری و معیارهای زبان رسمی بوده‌است و از این روی در همۀ موارد نمی‌توان از کاربردهای ایشان دربارۀ زبان طبیعی خودشان و روزگارشان نتیجه‌گیری کرد. با مطالعۀ موردی دربارۀ کلمۀ «روی/ رو» روشن می‌شود که کدام صورت/ صورت‌های آن در شعر سده‌های چهارم و پنجم هجری رواج داشته‌است؛ اما مقصود اصلی به دست دادن قواعد و معیارهایی قابل تعمیم به دیگر پژوهش‌ها در تاریخ زبان فارسی و تحوّلات واژگانی است.

by examining some of the socioeconomical aspects of persian poetry – especially the ways poets made a living and connected themselves to royal courts attempt has been made in this article to identify some of the factors in creating poetical practice and criteria for official texts. it will be shown that certain uses made by poets did not follow their own natural language but conformed to the poetical norms and the standards of the official language of the time. therefore, not in all cases can one determine the normal language of theirs and their time according to their uses in poetry.by examining individual cases of the application of the lexical item rūy/ rū, it will become clear which form/s of this item prevailed in the 4th5th h/1011 centuries. however, the main aim is to present rules and criteria that could be generalized to apply to other studies about the history of persian language and its lexical changes.
