الف تسمیه؛ سیری در کاربرد «الف» پسوند اسامی خاص و القاب در متون منظوم و منثور فارسی

نقش پساوندها در زبان فارسی به سبب ویژگیِ ترکیبی‌ این زبان، نقشی برجسته و معنی‌زاست. برخی از این پساوندها، که در مقاطعی از زمان بنا به ضرورت ها و طبق قواعد خاصی ساخته شده، به مرور از کار‌آیی می‌افتند و فراموش می‌شوند و یا به‌طور محدود مورد استفاده قرار می‌گیرند. در این مقاله سعی شده است تا پیرامون یکی از معانی پسوند «الف» در الصاق به اسم خاص و نحوه و دورۀ کاربرد آن بر اساس شماری از متون ادبی و تاریخی، تحقیق شود. تلاش ما در تحقیقِ این مسئلۀ به‌ظاهر خُرد این است که با واکاویِ منابع متعدد و متنوع، ضمن بررسی کاربرد این «الف» پسوند، و ساز و کار و معانی ثانویۀ آن، به‌ویژه در قیاس با برخی پسوندهای مشابه، معیارهایی برای پالایش متون و شناخت دقیقِ اعلام تاریخی به محققان و متن‌پژوهان عرضه کنیم.

Alefe tasmieh: A survey of the suffix “alef” appended to proper nouns and titles in Persian poetry and prose texts

Due to the synthetic quality of Persian, the function of suffixes in this language is a significant and purposeful one. Some of these endings, created at certain times according to certain rules and necessitated by certain needs, gradually become outmoded and eventually they have been either forgotten or used to a limited extent. Based on a number of literary and historical texts, the present article attempts to investigate about one of the meanings of the suffix “alef” when added to proper nouns and the manner and period of its use. Our effort in the study of this seemingly insignificant issue is that, by delving in numerous and various sources while examining the application of this “alef”, its mechanism and secondary meanings, especially, in comparison with some similar suffixes, we would provide researchers and textinvestigators with some criteria for refining texts and obtaining an exact understanding of historical names.
