چکیده
|
این مقاله به بررسی دو مفهوم کلیدی روش و نظریه در پژوهش‌های تجربی می‌پردازد. مقاله با قرار دادن این دو مفهوم در بستر روش‌شناسی پژوهشی، معانی و رویکرد‌های متفاوت به آنها را از دو منظر روش‌شناسی کمّی و کیفی مورد بررسی قرار می‌دهد. بدین منظور ابتدا ویژگی‌ها و ابعاد روش‌شناسی‌های کمّی و کیفی در پژوهش‌های تجربی تشریح می‌شوند و سپس، پس از بررسی تطبیقی میان این دو و ذکر نقاط تشابه و تفاوت آنها، فرایند پژوهش در هر یک از این دو رویکرد مد نظر قرار می‌گیرد. در ادامه مقاله ماهیت نظریه، به‌مثابه جزء مکمل روش در پژوهش‌های تجربی، از منظر دو دیدگاه کمّی و کیفی و ترکیب آنها مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار می‌گیرد. در نهایت مقاله با استفاده از «گونه‌شناسی نظریه‌ها» و توسل به مفهوم «دور هرمنوتیکی» دیدگاه خود را در مورد نسبت میان روش و نظریه در پژوهش‌های تجربی بیان می‌نماید و به تبیین نقش «چارچوب‌های نظری» در طرح این نوع از پژوهش‌ها می‌پردازد.

Abstract
|
the present paper aims to study the concept of method and theory in empirical research. considering the context of research methodology, the paper identifies different meanings and approaches to these two concepts from both quantitative and qualitative perspectives. first, the properties and dimensions of quantitative and qualitative methodologies in empirical research design are described. then, the research process in each of these two approaches is considered after a comparative analysis between the two by considering the similarity and difference aspects. accordingly, the nature of the theory as an integral part of the method in empirical research is analyzed based on these two perspectives, along with their integration. finally, by using the concept of “typology of theories” and the concept of “hermeneutic cycle”, the present study tries to represent the relationship between method and theory in empirical research and explains the role of “theoretical framework” in these kinds of research designs
