بررسی و نقد مبانی رقابت سیاسی در لیبرال دموکراسی

رقابت سیاسی به عنوان سازوکار مسالمت‌آمیز چرخش قدرت در علم سیاست جدید کاملاً پذیرفته شده است. این مقوله در لیبرالیسم، بر اساس و مبانی خاصی پایه‌ریزی شده است. نوشتار پیش‌ رو ضمن بررسی مبانی رقابت سیاسی در لیبرال‌دموکراسی، تلاش می‌کند با روی‎کردی انتقادی به نقد آن‌ها هم بپردازد تا رقابت سیاسی برساخته از این مبانی را به چالش بکشد. این پژوهش با چنین هدفی و با روش تحلیلی استنباطی از داده‎های کتاب‎خانه‎ای به این نتیجه ختم شده است که تنزل لیبرال‎دموکراسی از بایسته‎های عقل غایت‎اندیش، به هست‎های امیال نفسانی در تبیین حقوق و ارزش‎ها منجر به پیامدهایی شده است که مهم‎ترین آن‎ها در عرصه رقابت سیاسی، مقیدندانستن رقابت‎های سیاسی به اصول و قواعد ارزشی پیشینی و مستقل از اراده فرد است. مقیدنبودن رقابت سیاسی در لیبرال‎دموکراسی به این اصول، پیامدهای سویی برای آن به دنبال داشته است.

’The Study and Criticism of Political Rivalry in Liberal Democracy

Political rivalry as a peaceful strategy of shift of power in modern politics is an established fact. This concept in liberalism has been formulated on certain principles and grounds. The present article, while studying the principles and grounds of political rivalry in liberal democracy, tries to level criticism at them in order to challenge the political rivalry which emerge from these principles and grounds.
