راهکارهای نورسی در تقابل با فرهنگ غرب

زمانه‌ای که بدیع الزمان نورسی در آن می‌زیست، عصر سقوط حکومت عثمانی و روی کار آمدن حکومت سکولار و بلکه لائیک در ترکیه و هنگامه جنگ جهانی اول و اشغال کشورهای مسلمان توسط کشورهای غربی سکولار (نه غرب مسیحی و صلیبی) و آشنایی مسلمانان با فرهنگ و پیشرفت صنعتی این کشورها بود. بدیع الزمان نورسی در این زمان تمام تلاش خود را به کار گرفت، تا با معرفی فرهنگ عالی اسلامی، از اینکه جوانان مسلمان مرعوب یا فریفته تمدن غربی شوند، جلوگیری کند. او برای این کار روش مقایسه را به کار می‌گیرد. فرهنگ اسلامی ریشه در قرآن دارد که کتابی آسمانی است و تمدن غربی ریشه در فلسفه الحادی غربی دارد که معرفتی انسانی و در مقایسه با قرآن بسیار نازل است. وی با مقایسه تربیت یافتگان مکتب اسلام و مکتب فلسفه ‌الحادی و نیز مقایسه مدینه اسلامی و غربی، سعی می‌کند برتریهای فرهنگ اسلامی را به نمایش بگذارد. گام دیگری که بدیع الزمان نورسی برای آشکار کردن ماهیت تمدن غربی و جلوگیری از نفوذ آن در جوامع اسلامی برمی‌دارد، پاسخ دادن به شش مسئله علمی است؛ مسائلی که در اندیشه بدیع الزمان اگر بی‌پاسخ بماند، راه را برای نفوذ فرهنگ استعماری غرب فراهم می‌کند. خطبه‌ای که در مسجد جامع شام ایراد نموده نیز در همین راستا قابل تحلیل است.

Nursi’s Solutions in Contrast to Western culture

The time of Badi‘ AlZaman Nursi was the era of the fall of the Ottoman Empire and the establishment of not only a secular but also a laic government in Turkey and during the First World War and the occupation of Muslim countries by secular Western countries (not the Christian and Crusader West) and Muslims’ familiarity with the culture and industrial development of these countries. Badi‘ AlZaman Nursi did his best at this time to introduce Muslims’ high culture to prevent Muslim youth from being intimidated or deceived by Western civilization. He used the method of comparison to do this. Islamic culture is rooted in the Qur’an, which is a divine book, and Western civilization is rooted in Western atheistic philosophy, which is a human knowledge that is very low in comparison to the Qur’an. He tries to show the advantages of Islamic culture by comparing the educated figures of the school of Islam and the school of atheistic philosophy, as well as comparing the Islamic and Western cities. Another step taken by Badi‘ AlZaman Nursi to reveal the nature of Western civilization and prevent its influence in Islamic societies is to answer six scientific questions, which in Nursi’s thought, if left unanswered, pave the way for the influence of Western colonial culture.
