مقایسه رعایت حریم خصوصی بیمار در بخش‌های اورژانس و بستری و رابطه آن با اعتماد بیمار به پرستار

زمینه و هدف: احترام به حریم خصوصی بیمار، اصلی اساسی برای ابراز استقلال او و پیش‌نیاز ایجاد اعتماد در هسته ارتباط پرستار و بیمار است. افزایش آگاهی از اصول حفظ حریم خصوصی بیماران و جلب اعتماد آن‌ها توسط کارکنان نظام سلامت به‌ویژه پرستاران، مورد توجه پژوهشگران و مدیران خدمات سلامت قرار گرفته است. این مطالعه با هدف مقایسه رعایت حریم خصوصی بیمار در بخش‌های بستری و اورژانس و رابطه آن با اعتماد بیمار به پرستاردر بیمارستان شهید بهشتی قم انجام شد.روش بررسی: این مطالعه به روش مقطعی‌تحلیلی بوده و در سال 1400-1401 انجام شده است. نمونه‌های این مطالعه 210 نفر از بیماران بخش‌های بستری و اورژانس بیمارستان شهید بهشتی قم است. نمونه‌ها به روش در‌دسترس انتخاب شدند. ابزار جمع‌آوری داده‌ها، شامل پرسش‌نامه‌های حریم خصوصی و مقیاس اعتماد بیمار نسبت پرستار بوده است. داده‌ها با استفاده از آزمون آماری پیرسون و توسط نرم‌افزار spss نسخه 21 تجزیه‌و‌تحلیل شدند.یافته‌ها: بیشترین نمره پرسش‌نامه اعتماد در بخش بستری (13/11±89/03) و کمترین نمره پرسش‌نامه حریم خصوصی در بعد معنوی‌مذهبی در بخش بستری (39/19±13/79) بوده است. بیشترین نمره پرسش‌نامه اعتماد در بخش اورژانس (13/92±84/51) بود. طبق نتایج این مطالعه، بین حریم خصوصی بیمار و اعتماد بیمار به پرستار همبستگی وجود داشت.نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج این مطالعه نشان داد با افزایش رعایت حریم خصوصی بیماران، میزان اعتماد بیماران به پرستاران افزایش می‌یابد. شایسته است مدیران پرستاری با برنامه‌ریزی‌های آموزشی در‌زمینه حفظ حریم شخصی بیماران میزان اعتماد بیمار به پرستار را افزایش دهند.

comparing the patient privacy protection in emergency and inpatient departments of a hospital in qom, iran and its relationship with patient trust in nurses

background and objectives: respecting the patient’s privacy is the basic principle for building trust in the treatment staff, including nurses. nurses’ awareness of the principles of patient privacy protection and training how to gain the patient trust have attracted the attention of researchers and hospital managers. this study aims to compare patient privacy protection in inpatient and emergency departments of a hospital in qom, iran and assess its relationship with patient trust in nurses.methods: this is a cross-sectional analytical study and was conducted in 2021-2022. participants were 110 patients from the emergency department and 110 patients from the inpatient departments of shahid beheshti hospital in qom city. they were selected using a convenience sampling method. data collection tools included a sociodemographic form, tehrani et al.’s privacy scale in hospitalized patients and radwin & cabral’s trust in nurses scale (tns). data were analyzed using pearson’s correlation test in spss software, version 21.results: in the inpatient departments, the tns score was higher than in the emergency department (89.03±13.11 vs 84.51±13.92). in the inpatient departments, the highest score of privacy scale was in the psychosocial domain (83.56±17.09) and the lowest score was in the personal domain (77.15±22.89). the highest score of privacy scale in the emergency department was in the personal domain (74.14±22.4) and the lowest score was in the spiritual-religious dimension (63.86±20.73). there was a significant correlation between patient privacy and patient trust in nurses (p<0.05).conclusion: the increase in respecting for patient privacy can increase patient trust in nurses. nursing managers can increase patients’ trust in nurses by providing patient privacy educational courses to nurses in the emergency and inpatient departments.
