ارتباط شیوه فرزندپروری والدین با میزان ترس و همکاری کودکان 8-4 ساله، مراجعه‌کننده به کلینیک‌های دندانپزشکی شهر قم

زمینه و هدف: ترس و اضطراب ناشی از خدمات دندانپزشکی، باعث کاهش همکاری کودک حین درمان می شود. سبک فرزندپروری یکی از عوامل تاثیر گذار بر روی واکنش رفتاری کودک نسبت به درمان دندانپزشکی است. در این مطالعه تاثیر شیوه فرزندپروری والدین بر میزان ترس و همکاری کودکان در سنین 84 ساله بررسی گردید.روش بررسی: پژوهش حاضر به روش مقطعی بر روی 150 کودک مراجعه کننده به مراکز دندانپزشکی شهر قم (سال 1397) به صورت تصادفی انجام شد. سبک فرزندپروری با استفاده از پرسشنامه بامریند (baumrind)، میزان ترس کودک با پرسشنامه children fear schedule dental subscale و میزان همکاری کودک، با شاخص فرانکل (franckel index) ارزیابی شد. رابطه شیوه فرزندپروری والدین بر میزان ترس و همکاری کودکان با استفاده از آزمون همبستگی و درصورت لزوم رگرسیون بررسی گردید.یافته ها: در این مطالعه، همبستگی بین سبک های فرزندپروری سهل گیرانه، مستبدانه و مقتدرانه با نمره ترس کودکان معنی دار نبود، اما براساس آزمون توکی، نمره سبک فرزندپروری مستبدانه در گروه منفی از نظر شاخص فرانکل، اختلاف معنی داری نشان داد که بالاتر از سایر گروه ها بود (0.001=p). نتیجه گیری: نتایج این پژوهش نشان داد کودکانی که والدین مستبد دارند، در رابطه با درمان های دندانپزشکی، کمتر همکاری می کنند، اما ترس کودکان با سبک های فرزندپروری والدین ارتباطی ندارد.

Relationship between Parents’ Parenting Style and Level of Fear and Cooperation of 48 Years Old Children Referring to Dental Clinics of Qom City, (Iran)

Background and Objectives: Fear and anxiety of dental treatment decrease cooperation of child during the treatment. Parenting style is one of the factors influencing child's behavioral reaction to dental treatment. In this study, the effect of parenting style of parents was investigated on the levels fear and cooperation in 48 year children. Methods: The present research was randomly performed as a crosssectional study on 150 children referred to dental centers of Qom city. Parenting style was assessed by Baumrind questionnaire and children's fear level was analyzed using Children's Fear Survey ScheduleDental Subscale questionnaire and children's cooperation was assessed using Frankl's Behavior Rating Scale. The relationship between parent’s parenting style and children's fear and cooperation, was analyzed by correlation test and regression if necessary. Results: In this study, there was no significant correlation between permissive, authoritarian, and authoritative parenting styles with children's fear scores. But, based on post hoc Tukey test, the authoritative style of children in the negative group showed a significant difference in the Frankl's test, which was higher than other groups (p=0.001). Conclusion: According to the results of this research, children with authoritative parents showed less cooperation with dental treatment, but the children’s fear was not related to the parents’ parenting styles
