   osteoclastoma-like giant cell tumor of the liver, an extremely rare tumor

چکیده    Giant cell rich hepatic tumors are divided into two types of mesenchymal and epithelial. mesenchymal tumors are uncommon. osteoclastomalike giant cell tumor of the liver is an extremely rare mesenchymal hepatic tumor with very poor prognosis. to the best of our knowledge, only 5 cases have been reported in the english literature so far. our case was a 64yearold woman presented with abdominal pain. the patient was operated with the preoperative imaging diagnosis of angiosarcoma that after pathologic examination turned out to be osteoclastomalike giant cell tumor. unfortunately, the patient died shortly after surgery.
