The recent paper from leonardi and la rosa (2010) aimed to establish the prevalence of celiac disease (cd) in patients with chronic hepatitis b (hbv) infection (1). previous studies suggest that chronic hepatitis c (hcv) could trigger immunological gluten intolerance in susceptible patients (2).
