بررسی آگاهی زوج های داوطلب ازدواج، درباره بیماری ایدز در شهرستان بابل

مقدمه و هدف: بیماری عفونی ایدز تهدیدی جدی برای سلامت جوامع انسانی است. آگاهی افراد جامعه نقش مهمی در پیشگیری از ابتلا به این بیماری دارد. این مطالعه به‌منظور تعیین سطح آگاهی زوج‌های داوطلب ازدواج، درباره بیماری ایدز در شهرستان بابل انجام شد.روش کار: این مطالعه از نوع مقطعی است. جامعه و نمونه پژوهش (732 نفر) همه زوج‌های جوان مراجعه‌کننده به مرکز آموزش‌های پیش از ازدواج بودند که به‌صورت سرشماری انتخاب شدند. ابزار جمع‌آوری داده‌ها، پرسشنامه محقق ساخته شامل ویژگی‌های فردی با 6 پرسش و آگاهی درباره ایدز با 9 پرسش بود که روایی و پایایی آن به تایید رسید. آگاهی زوج‌ها در سه سطح خوب، متوسط و ضعیف با استفاده از نرم‌افزار spss 18 و آزمون‌های آماری بررسی شد.یافته‌ها: میانگین سنی نمونه‌ها 5.7 ±24.2 سال، 54 درصد زن و 46 درصد مرد بودند. سطح آگاهی درباره بیماری ایدز در 19.4 درصد ضعیف، 36.5 متوسط و 44.1 درصد خوب بوده است. رادیو و تلویزیون بیشترین منبع کسب آگاهی با 44.1 درصد بوده است. ارتباط مستقیم معنی‌داری بین تحصیلات، سن و سطح آگاهی، وجود داشت (0.337=r & 0.001=p)، (0.143=r & 0.001=p). بین جنس، محل سکونت، شغل و سطح آگاهی نیز ارتباط معنی‌داری وجود داشت (0.001=p). نتیجه‌گیری: این مطالعه نشان داد هنوز بیش از نیمی از مردان و زنان جوان، آگاهی کافی در باره بیماری ایدز ندارند؛ بنابراین، ادامه اجرای برنامه‌های آموزشی در سطح جامعه ضروری به نظر می‌رسد. 

evaluation of the awareness of marriage candidates about aids in babol

introduction and purpose: aids is a serious threat to the health of communities. social awareness plays an important role in the prevention of this condition. the aim of this study was to determine the awareness level of marriage candidates about aids in babol, iran.methods: this cross-sectional study was conducted on young couples (n=732), referring to premarital counseling centers; the subjects were selected via census sampling. data were collected, using a researcher-made questionnaire consisting of six items on demographic characteristics and nine items on aids awareness; the validity and reliability of the questionnaire were confirmed. aids awareness (rated as good, medium and weak) was analyzed, using spss version 18.results: the mean age of samples was 24.2±5.7 years. overall, 54% and 46% of subjects were female and male, respectively. the level of awareness about aids in 19.4%, 36.5% and 44.1% of volunteers was poor, medium and good, respectively. television and radio were the main sources of information in 44.1% of subjects. there was a significant relationship between educational level, age and level of awareness (r=-0.337, p=001 and r=-0.143, p=001, respectively). also, there was a significant relationship between gender, place of residence, occupational status and level of awareness (p=001).conclusion: this study showed that still more than half of young men and women do not have enough information about aids. therefore, it is necessary to continue educational programs at the community level.
