بررسی اقدامات انجام شده توسط والدین در کودکان مبتلا به تب مراجعه‌کننده به درمانگاه بیمارستان دکتر شیخ مشهد

مقدمه و هدف: تب در کودکان یک نگرانی رایج برای والدین و یکی از شایع‌ترین علل مراجعه به اورژانس است. هدف از این مطالعه بررسی وجود تب در کودکان مراجعه‌کننده به درمانگاه بیمارستان دکتر شیخ مشهد توسط کادر درمان و اقدامات انجام شده توسط والدین آنها می‌باشد.روش‌کار: دراین مطالعه توصیفی – مقطعی که از اسفند 1395 تا اسفند 1396 انجام شد، تعداد 500 مادر که با فرض داشتن تب در کودک به درمانگاه اطفال بیمارستان دکتر شیخ مراجعه کرده بودند به روش نمونه گیری در دسترس انتخاب شدند. بعد از دریافت رضایت آگاهانه، سن، جنس، تحصیلات و شغل والدین ثبت و نظر آنان درباره وجود تب و اقدامات انجام شده بررسی شد. در نهایت اطلاعات جمع‌آوری شده با استفاده از نرم‌افزار spss 20 مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت.یافته‌ها: کودکان مورد مطالعه در بازه سنی 1 تا 156 ماه قرارداشتند. میانگین تب اندازه‌گیری شده در بیمارستان 0.81±37.31 و تب حدس والدین 2.43±39.64 بود (p<0/001). بین سن کودک و درجه حرارت و همچنین سن کودک و دادن دارو ارتباط معناداری وجود نداشت. کودکانی که درجه تب آنها کمتر از 37.8 بود در 17.1 درصد موارد دارو دریافت کرده بودند. بین تحصیلات پدر و همچنین تحصیلات مادر با دادن دارو ارتباط معناداری مشاهده شد. بین شغل پدر و دادن دارو ارتباط معناداری وجود نداشت، اما بین شغل مادر و دادن دارو ارتباط معناداری وجود داشت.نتیجه‌گیری: والدین نگرش و عملکرد ضعیفی در زمینه اداره تب کودکانشان داشتند. بنابراین مداخلات آموزش بهداشت هدفمند برای مدیریت موثر علائم تب در کودکان موردنیاز است.

investigating measures taken by parents with fever in children referred to dr. sheikh mashhad hospital clinic

background and purpose: fever in children is a common concern for parents. the purpose of this study is to investigate the of fever in children referred to dr. sheikh mashhad hospital clinic by the treatment staff and the actions taken by their parents.methodology: in this cross-sectional descriptive study that was conducted from march 2015 to march 2016, 500 mothers who had referred to the pediatric clinic of dr. sheikh hospital with the assumption that their child had a fever were selected using convenience sampling. after receiving informed consent, the age, gender, education and occupation of the parents were recorded and their opinions about the presence of fever and the measures taken were investigated. finally, the collected information was analyzed using spss 20 software.results: the studied children were in the age range of 1 to 156 months. the average fever measured in the hospital was 37.31±0.81 and the fever guessed by the parents was 39.64±2.43 (p<0.001). there was no significant relationship between the age of the child and the temperature, as well as the age of the child and giving the medicine. children whose fever was less than 37.8 received medicine in 17.1 percent of cases. a significant relationship was observed between father’s education and mother’s education with giving medicine. there was no significant relationship between father’s job and giving medicine, but there was a significant relationship between mother’s job and giving medicine.conclusion: targeted health education interventions are needed for the effective management of fever symptoms in children.
