بررسی آگاهی، نگرش و عملکرد دانشجویان در ارتباط با پژوهش و عوامل مرتبط با آن در دانشگاه علوم پزشکی مشهد در سال 1397

مقدمه: توجه به آموزش مبتنی بر پژوهش یکی از شاخص‌های مهم در آموزش عالی و موقعیت پژوهشی هر کشور بوده و معیار اصلی سنجش توسعه آن می‌باشد. در این ارتباط، مطالعه حاضر با هدف تعیین آگاهی، نگرش و عملکرد دانشجویان علوم پزشکی در رابطه با پژوهش و عوامل مرتبط با آن در سال 1397 انجام شد. مواد و روش‌ها: درمطالعه توصیفی تحلیلی حاضر، 431 نفر از دانشجویان دانشگاه علوم پزشکی مشهد به روش نمونه‌گیری خوشه‌ای انتخاب شده و بررسی گردیدند. ابزار جمع‌آوری اطلاعات، پرسشنامه‌ای با چهار بخش ویژگی‌های دموگرافیک، سنجش آگاهی، سنجش نگرش و سنجش میزان عملکرد پژوهشی بود. به‌منظور تجزیه و تحلیل اطلاعات از آمار توصیفی و استنباطی (آزمون mann–whitney، آزمون kruskal–wallis و آزمون طیف لیکرت) با استفاده از نرم‌افزارspss 16  استفاده شد. یافته‌ها: بر مبنای نتایج، 78.4 درصد از آزمودنی‌ها نگرش بسیار خوب، 92.3 درصد آگاهی ضعیف و 58.5 درصد عملکرد ضعیف نسبت به پژوهش داشتند. عدم مطالعه در رابطه با روش‌های آماری، عدم حضور در دوره‌های آموزش روش تحقیق و مقاله‌نویسی و عدم مشارکت حتی در یک طرح پژوهشی در 60 تا 75 درصد از دانشجویان مشاهده شد. بین نگرش دانشجویان و جنسیت آن‌ها، بین آگاهی و مقطع تحصیلی و بین وضعیت اشتغال و عملکرد پژوهشی دانشجویان رابطه آماری معناداری به‌دست نیامد (p<0.05). نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به نتایج مطالعه حاضر که حاکی از دانش و عملکرد ضعیف دانشجویان در ارتباط با پژوهش و الزامات آن و نیز عدم آشنایی آن‌ها با نقش و وظایف مراکز متصدی پژوهش در دانشگاه می‌باشند، شایسته است برنامه‌ریزی در راستای ارتقای آگاهی پژوهشی در دانشجویان به نحو مقتضی انجام شود.

Knowledge, Attitude, and Performance of Students Regarding Research and its Related Factors in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in 2018, Mashhad, Iran

Introduction: Researchbased education is an important indicator of higher education and research status in every country and it is regarded as the main criterion of its development. The present study aimed to investigate the knowledge, attitude, and performance of medical students in relation to research and its related factors in 2018. Materials and Methods: The current study was a descriptiveanalytical study conducted on 431 students of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Mashhad, Iran. The participants of the present study were selected using cluster sampling method. The data collection tool was a questionnaire with four sections of demographic characteristics, knowledge measurement, attitude measurement, and research performance. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS software (version 16) using descriptive and inferential statistics (MannWhitney, KruskalWallis, and Likert spectrum tests). Results: Based on the findings of the present study, 78.4% of the participants had a very good attitude, 92.3% poor knowledge, and 58.5% poor performance toward research. Lack of study on statistical methods, participation in research and article writing courses, and nonparticipation in even one research project in 6075% of students were observed. No statistically significant relationship was detected between students’ attitudes and their gender, knowledge and academic level, and research performance and the employment status of the students (P<0.05).    Conclusion: Results of the present study indicated poor knowledge and performance of the students in researching, as well as their lack of familiarity with the role and duties of the research centers in the universities. Therefore, it is of paramount importance to broaden the students’ knowledge of research.
