بررسی میزان آگاهی دانشجویان دانشگاه علوم پزشکی لرستان در زمینه ناباروری در سال 1395

مقدمه: ناباروری به معنای عدم بارداری پس از یک سال نزدیکی بدون محافظت می‌باشد. در این ارتباط، مطالعه حاضر با هدف تعیین میزان آگاهی دانشجویان دانشگاه علوم پزشکی لرستان در زمینه ناباروری انجام شد. مواد و روش‌ها: در مطالعه توصیفی مقطعی حاضر 350 نفر از دانشجویان دانشگاه علوم پزشکی لرستان با استفاده از روش نمونه‌گیری چندمرحله‌ای تصادفی مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. ابزار گردآوری اطلاعات، پرسشنامه‌ای شامل 10 سوال دموگرافیک و 20 سوال سنجش آگاهی در حیطه ناباروری بود. در پژوهش حاضر تجزیه و تحلیل نتایج با استفاده از نرم‌افزار spss 16 و آزمون‌های تحلیل واریانس یک‌طرفه و mann–whitney انجام شد. یافته‌ها: یافته‌های پژوهش حاضر نشان دادند که میانگین نمره آگاهی در دانشجویان با رده‌های سنی متفاوت و رشته‌های تحصیلی مختلف، یکسان نمی‌باشد (0.05>p). از سوی دیگر، میانگین نمره آگاهی در جنس مذکر و مونث تفاوت معناداری را نشان داد (0.05>p) و میانگین نمره آگاهی در دانشجویان با تحصیلات متفاوت پدر و مادر مشابه بود. شایان ذکر است که میانگین نمره آگاهی در دانشجویان متاهل و مجرد تفاوت معناداری نداشت. نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به نتایج حاصل از این مطالعه و تفاوت آگاهی در رشته‌های مختلف تحصیلی می‌توان گفت که دروس آموزشی گنجانده‌شده در برنامه رشته‌های تحصیلی متفاوت می‌تواند بر میزان آگاهی دانشجویان در زمینه ناباروری تاثیرگذار باشد؛ از این رو پیشنهاد می‌شود با توجه به اهمیت موضوع ناباروری و افزایش میزان این مشکل نسبت به گذشته، مسئولان محترم آموزشی توجه بیشتری به این زمینه نموده و آگاهی دانشجویان را ارتقا بخشند.

Investigation of the Students’ Knowledge about Infertility at Lorestan University of Medical Sciences in 2016

Introduction: Infertility is the inability to conceive after one year of unprotected intercourse. The aim of the present study was to determine the knowledge of the students about infertility at Lorestan University of Medical Sciences, Khorramabad, Iran. Materials and Methods: This crosssectional study included 350 students at Lorestan University of Medical Sciences, Khorramabad, Iran. The participants were selected using a multistage random sampling method. The data were collected via a questionnaire which sought information regarding demographic characteristics (10 items) and knowledge about infertility (20 items). Subsequently, the data were analyzed in SPSS software (Version 16) through oneway ANOVA and MannWhitney test. Results: The results showed a difference between different age groups and different academic fields regarding the mean scores of knowledge about infertility (P<0.05). Moreover, a significant difference was observed between males and females in terms of the mean knowledge score (P<0.05). However, regarding the mean scores of knowledge, there was no difference among the students whose parents had different educational levels. In addition, no significant difference was observed between married and single students in terms of the mean score of knowledge about infertility.   Conclusion: According to the obtained results and given the differences in students’ knowledge about infertility in different fields of study, it can be concluded that training courses in different academic disciplines can have effects on the improvement of students’ knowledge about infertility. Therefore, it is suggested that education authorities pay more attention to this issue and improve students’ knowledge about infertility due to its importance and increasing rate of this condition.
