بررسی اثربخشی درمان مبتنی بر رویکرد حیوان‌درمانی به‌منظور بهبود مهارت‌های اجتماعی کودکان اوتیسم: گزارش موردی مداخله‌ای

مقدمه: اوتیسم یکی از اختلالات فراگیر رشد می‌باشد که ویژگی اصلی آن وجود نقایص کیفی در تعاملات اجتماعی و مهارت‌های ارتباطی دوجانبه و نیز محدودشدن الگوهای رفتاری می‌باشد. در این راستا، پژوهش حاضر با هدف بهبود تعاملات اجتماعی کودکان مبتلا به اوتیسم با استفاده از رویکرد درمانی با کمک حیوان و بررسی اثربخشی این روش درمانی بر بهبود مهارت‌های اجتماعی کودکان اتیستیک در سال 1396 در شهر مشهد انجام شد. مواد و روش‌ها: مطالعه حاضر که به‌صورت گزارش موردی مداخله‌ای تنظیم شده است، در ارتباط با سه کودک نه ساله که با روش نمونه‌گیری تصادفی از میان کودکان اتیستیک با عملکرد بالا در سطح شهر مشهد انتخاب گردیدند، انجام شد. شرکت‌کنندگان طی یک دوره سه هفته‌ای (آزمون به‌صورت هفتگی) از طریق خرده‌مقیاس تعاملات اجتماعی مقیاس درجه‌بندی اوتیسم gilliam ویرایش دوم مورد ارزیابی اولیه قرار گرفتند. سپس، مداخله با حیوان (سگ) برای هر سه شرکت‌کننده به مدت 12 هفته به‌صورت انفرادی صورت گرفت و مجدداً تعاملات اجتماعی کودکان ارزیابی گردید. یافته‌ها: هر سه فرد شرکت‌کننده در این مطالعه به‌طور متوسط 30 درصد پیشرفت در مهارت‌های اجتماعی را نشان دادند. نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج حاصل از این مطالعه نشان‌دهنده اثربخشی مداخله با استفاده از حیوان بر بهبود مهارت‌های اجتماعی کودکان طیف اوتیسم بودند.

Efficacy of Animalassisted Therapy on Improving the Social Skills of Children with Autism: An interventional case report

Introduction: Autism is known as one of the pervasive development disorders. The main feature of autism is the qualitative defects in the social interactions and bilateral communication skills, as well as the limited behavior patterns. Therefore, the present study aimed to evaluate the improvement of social interactions in the children with autism using an animalassisted therapeutic approach in Mashhad in 2017. Materials and Methods: This prepost study was performed on three nineyear old children selected by random sampling method from the highperformance autistic children in Mashhad, Iran. The participants were evaluated for three weeks (weekly tests) using the social interaction subscale of the Gilliam Autism Rating ScaleSecond Edition. Afterwards, the animalassisted intervention was performed using a dog for each of the three subjects individually for 12 weeks and the social interactions of children were reevaluated. Results: According to the findings of this study, all the three participants showed an average of 30% enhancement in the social skills. Conclusion: The results of our study demonstrated that the animalassisted therapeutic intervention was effective in promoting the social skills of the children with autism spectrum disorder.
