The atheist comes back again to be a phenomenon of intellectual present under the difficult circumstances experienced by the islamic nation and raging the existence and identity and capabilities while the islamic nation seeks to stand on its feet in the face of the state of sedition and coma civilization, comes the letter of abuse in the constants and sanctities to stand in the way of vigilance and renaissance and leave efforts on progress and construction. today, the subject of atheism is an intellectual problem that revolves around a media debate, a philosophicaldebate and an ideological struggle, especially since various media and research centers speak of the high rate of increasing this phenomenon in the islamic world.and here comes the role of the religious authority in taking and the measures to combat this phenomenon and find scientific solutions for disposal. this study consisted of an introduction, three studies and a conclusion, as well as a list of sources and references”al-marjieiat”. the first topic dealt with the terms of study in language and terminology, namely, role, reference, values and atheism. the second topic included the role of reference”al-marjieiat” in preserving the islamic values, or cultural invasion, while the third topic has titled the role of reference”al-marjieiat” in the face of atheism, reflecting the historical and patterns of atheism and its effects on the societies and solutions reference”al-marjieiat” to this phenomenon and how to eliminate it.
